Food in Mykonos: A feast for the five senses
Creative Greek fusion and Asian-tinted flavours next to the shimmering sea
Right by the beach, the sea-facing Branco restaurant serves inspired yet unpretentious food in Mykonos – traditional Greek dishes with a cleverly contemporary twist, Asian-influenced flavours and premium sushi. Everything is prepared with the freshest locally sourced ingredients; and the gifts of the Aegean that’s right in our backyard. With our acclaimed chef’s talent, skill and ingenuity, these prime quality raw materials are turned into little taste bombs that appease and please even the most finicky palates. Of course, the visually stunning presentation plays a part too – and so does the idyllic setting: Branco’s culinary gems are served in various different areas – all with their distinct brand of charm, making for diverse sensory experiences.
Surrounded by olive trees and rioting bougainvillaeas, with Rafia lanterns and tadelakt floors, Branco’s garden restaurant is imbued with a laid-back, cool aura – so typical of Mykonos’ happy-go-lucky spirit. The adjoining sushi bar, where cooking is elevated into an interactive art form, only adds to the allure. Then, moving towards the sea, there is the terrace – an elevated fairy-lit, Mediterranean-gazing spot with five monastery-style tables, perfect for big gatherings with a more exclusive feel and focus.
Branco also serves terrific cocktails – which are, needless to say, available by the pool or at the sunbeds as well. If that’s not impressive enough, an extensive wine list of the best drops from Greece and the world is also here to delight.
Every day brings something special at the Branco: maybe the chef is trying something exciting and new, maybe they are sharpening their sushi knives for the world to see, or maybe there is an impromptu party – the uplifting music and ambience, of course, help.
Deliciously decadent? Oh yes. Come to the Branco and experience its signature blend of amazing food in Mykonos, exuberant atmosphere and electrifying vibes.
